Halloween is right around the corner and we are celebrating with our annual Halloween Portrait Party! The mini sessions will be held on October 31st (Halloween) by appointment. Our packages start at $24.99 and are 75% off our normal studio prices for one day only. Autumn Portraits!

It’s that time of year again where we bring out the sweaters, scarfs and boots and prepare ourselves for crisp weather. I know your probably thinking, “what! - we just started our summer!” - but Autumn is right around the corner. I couldn’t be more happy, as Autumn is my favorite season of the year with all the beautiful colors, the foggy mornings, and yes all the yummy flavors like pumpkin and squash mmmmmmm! Which brings me to our Autumn special: one free session (up to an hour & a half of photography) out at Jennings Park. Introducing Kenza Mae Olson

 

What a sweetheart! This darling is now part of our kids club program and I can’t wait to watch her grow up. Kenza Mae is definitely a natural in front of the camera - even at two weeks old she was so aware and curious as to her surroundings. Here are a few of my favorites and I will definitely have more to share of this cutie in the future!

I had the privilege of meeting Courtney a couple of years back for her senior portraits, where we got one of my favorite images with some peacock feathers around her face. When I got the call that she was engaged, I was so excited for her. Once Courtney and Nicholas came in for their photo shoot I could tell how madly in love these two are. It was so much fun being able to capture true love like this! Just another reason why I have the best job ever!!! The groom to be will be on duty for the next year serving our country in the army. Thank you Nicholas. And thank you both for the fun shoot.

Cutie Pie!

 

This little cuttie has been coming in to see me for some time now, and she just turned 5 years old! It blows my mind how fast kids grow up, one moment I am photographing them sitting up on their own and next there turning 5. Where does time go? Elle sure nows how to play with the camera. As soon as we get started she is hamming it up. Super Cute!!! She is definitely turning into a young lady she even got to wear  lip gloss for her portraits, so grown up!  Happy 5th Birthday Elle!!!

Rockin Senior Portraits!

Kylie was suck a Rock Star. For her senior portraits she really wanted railroad tracks and since we can’t use these in Marysville we ventured to the small town of Snohomish. The railroad tracks we found were 40 to 50 feet in the air, so not for those afraid of heights. But Kylie pulled it off and in 6 inch heels no less! From there we headed out on the town found some cool walls and doors, more of an urban feel. Snohomish is such a cute town how could you not love it.  Kylie also loves her snake Jake so of course he had to be one of our models, he was excellent like he was born for this. All in all we had tons of fun! Thank you Kylie for being such a wonderful model and for being yourself!!!

My job is the best! When Chris (our framer in the darkroom) came to me with the idea for his new business cards I thought YES! What better thing to be than Superman? So just for the fun of it I wanted to share a couple of his images.

MPHS 2012 Senior Rep

Cody House is our 2012 Marysville Pilchuck Senior Rep, he is involved in a lot of different activities but the main one is captain of the varsity football team. So naturally we wanted to show that off. We spent his outdoor session at Marysville Pilchuck on the football field. Beautiful Baby Bump!

Ana and Luis were a great couple they were both so excited about their baby to be and it shone through in their portraits. They were so easy-going and willing to let the camera capture all those special moments. Thank you Ana and Luis for letting me be apart of this miracle I cant wait to meet little Mr. soon!
